Pind Productions delivers a knockout performance during its first ever-musical show

 Call it “Beginner’s Luck” or “ Sheer dedication and hard work by its organizers and crew members”, the Vaisakhi Mela – 2008 by Pind Productions L.L.C. is been termed as the most successful Punjabi Musical show ever in Michigan. So huge was the response that the Venue with a seating capacity of 800, was overflowing with an audience of more that a 1000. The success of the show can be gauged by the fact that the snaks were out after 45 minutes in the show and people were craving for the tickets even 2 hours into the show. The organizers are already receiving calls from other promoters around U.S. to organize more shows.
The “who and who” of Michigan were present at the show. While Mr. Darshan Singh Grewal (Singh Homes & Constructions) was the chief guest of the show, the C.E.O. of N.Y.X. Mr. Chain Singh Sandhu presented the momentos to the organizers and crewmembers of the show. Other sponsors of the show included Mr.Karan Gill, Syan Video, Unity Home Care, Rani hair Salon, Apna Virsa Radio, Handi Cusine of India, Haveli Cusine of India, Mr. Ranjit Windsor.
The show started with Bhangra performance by the team of University of Michigan – Dearborn, followed by the energetic performance by Surjit Khan, Bhupinder Gill & Miss Neelam. Ramandeep Kaur anchored the show to introduce all the artists to the audience. During the half time Mr. Davinder Grewal & Mr. Bikram Sandhu (organizers) thanked the audience and the sponsors for their overwhelming response. Audience welcomed Miss Pooja – the star of the show, with loud cheers and whistles. Miss Pooja inturn sang and danced her favourite songs that brought the hall on its feet.
At the end audience, sponsors and organizers labeled the Vaisakhi Mela 2008 alike a success- with a promise of organizing even bigger show in future to promote Punjabi culture and its rich values among Michigan residents.
